Nicole and her seven siblings were born in Little Canada, Minnesota to a World War II Veteran and a French Immigrant Mother. Close in age to her brothers, she played competitive sports and grew to love the many animals they shared.
Her thirst for travel and adventure landed a career as a flight attendant for a major airline. Living in California and Hawaii she traveled around the globe to see the world of art.
She married Alan Terrill and settled down on a 40 acre ranch in Desoto County, Mississippi. Alan made an easel for her and she taught herself to paint. The tragic death of Alan at age 33 from an aneurysm ended her lust for artistic endeavors.
She began painting with no formal art education and started taking instruction from local artists who became her friends.
She was blessed to regain the inspiration to paint and loves to use her imagination in the use of vibrant colors to create abstract designs. She critiques with a group of artists in Memphis, Tennessee and is a member of the Desoto Arts and Olive Branch Art Council.
The Impressionists are her favorite artists.
“I’m painting on the palette of the blessings God gave me”
