It seems I’ve always had a pencil or paint brush in my hands. My love of watercolor has gone from being a passion to a way of life. Every painting takes me to another level and deepens my desire to create that ultimate painting that says everything my mind has imagined and my heart wants to express- whether it’s when I am taken by the scenery or landscape of a real or imagined place, or a single bloom in my garden. When I see what the hand of God has so breathtakingly fashioned, I am overwhelmed with a sense of awe and wonder and a desire to capture it with every brushstroke.
Though I am self-taught, I have had the privilege of learning from many wonderful artists through the years. My style and interpretation has become a unique blend of experience and experiences, study and finally allowing myself the privilege of “just enjoying the process!”
