Donna Wadford is an entrepreneur and strives to always be different. Owner of Cruzin South Magazine and Cruzin Sports along with being the Director of Old Towne Olive Branch, she stays busy. She loves Old Towne as her businesses are situated there. Old Towne is growing and Donna attributes the love of the community and government to that. Her and husband Glen are Mississippi lovers and are proud to call it home.
Being a mother of one and stepmother of two keeps her passion in painting alive.
“Painting has always been a sense of peace for me. No formal training in painting just a love that comes from the heart. Each painting brings out something different in me and teaches me something. I continually learn about colors, texture, blending and that is what makes each picture a challenge and unique. I think painting is a representation of up-bringing and your life. Both my up-bringing and life is extremely blessed and I think my use of vibrant colors and color combinations reflect that,” states Donna.
Donna has been commissioned to do several business lobby pieces and has found that to be a challenge. “I find it hard to paint for money or with direction, I paint form my heart with no sense of direction until the first color hits the canvas,” exclaims Donna.
