President
Rita Schelly has been a resident of Olive Branch for 21 years. She is Vice President of BancorpSouth Bank in Olive Branch. She is married to John Schelly, employed by City of Olive Branch, and has a son, Nicholas Lancaster, by a previous marriage.
Rita has been a member of the Arts Council for six years and has been on the board for five years. Rita enjoys gardening, reading, playing with her grandchildren and making desserts. Rita has headed up the Dessert Theatre with the Arts Council for 3 of the 4 years and enjoys that very much. She, like so many others, is looking forward to having a performing art theatre in Olive Branch.
